The Carolina Athletic Hospitality interns play a vital role in the success of football, basketball, and baseball hospitality as well as Blue Zone rental events at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
These positions require excellent communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, organizational skills, dedication, and enthusiasm.
The interns will work closely with UNC Athletics, The Rams Club, and Rams Club donors. Interns also help manage game day student workers or FANgineers™.

Office Internship
Carolina Athletic Hospitality hires one office intern per year. The internship typically begins in May or June and lasts 12 months.
This intern must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work long hours on weekdays and weekends. This intern must be available 30 hours per week and, in addition to a normal workweek, will work all home football games as well as basketball games, baseball games, rental events, and other special events as assigned.
Due to the nature of this internship, we prefer our intern to not be enrolled in in-person courses during the internship. The intern receives hourly pay.
Experience in event management, sport management, hospitality, and/or customer service is preferred but not required.
Game Day Internships
Carolina Athletic Hospitality hires two game day interns who work the entirety of the academic year, August 1 to May 1. The game day internship is open to undergraduate students, with preference given to those in their final year of undergrad.
This position is paid hourly and primarily event/game day focused. This intern will assist with administrative tasks, as well as all home football games, some men’s basketball games, and baseball games as assigned. Interns will also work Blue Zone events as scheduled.
